Addleshaw Goddard worst decision I ever made.
Pros - None. Potentially only the fact it was a 35 hour week
Cons - Clueless management. Bullying. A sense of no ownership is instilled throughout the IT department.

No sense of self worth!
Pros - Good clients and deals, not much else
Cons - People, hours, demands, rudeness.

Very unpleasant place to work.
Pros - Nice office, good equipment some of the IT co-workers are really great people
Cons - Bullying, finger-pointing and failure is entrenched in the entire culture of Business Services. Anybody with talent or ambition has left, leaving very little behind to bring about the changes required in the firm. People here are either very unhappy and looking to leave or serial under performers.

Addleshaw Goddard deeply unpleasant place to work.
Pros - Some genuinely interesting work if you're in the right place at the right time. Generally a nice bunch of co-workers
Cons - 1) 18k is the starting salary and is the salary you will likely stay on regardless of performance or billable hours. 2) senior paralegals typically earn around 22K and there is no clear progression route to get there. 3) Bonuses - don't be silly. you'd be lucky to get a few 100 whilst your friends in other industries are getting 10% bonuses and pay rises.

I would not recommend Addleshaw Goddard
Pros - A lot of opportunities if you play the game right for good work. Most people are lethargic due to being overworked and stressed, therefore there is great opportunities to navigate as many people aren't fighting for anything anymore
Cons - The upper management is a clique, they do not care the least bit about their trainees or associates. They could not care any less for encouraging and advancing.

Addleshaw Goddard good Name, bad experience.
Pros - Having AG on your CV can open up a lot of doors in the industry. The Qualified Solicitors / Legal execs within the business are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions
Cons - As a paralegal, your line manager is unqualified and rarely has a detailed enough knowledge of the work you undertake to provide you with relevant guidance. Paralegals are often used as mass admin for projects rather than given opportunities to gain knowledge.

Interesting work, culture needs working on.
Pros - I was exposed to a huge variety of work and was given a lot of responsibility. I delivered training externally which was great for building confidence
Cons - Competitive cliquey associates who would try to make you look bad whilst partners were around. Face time culture. Salary is below market. Training not provided on the job.

Addleshaw Goddard badly run
Pros - Does have nice people but they all seem to be leaving
Cons - Becoming a toxic place to work. Used to be flat structured across business services but now very hierarchical and just unpleasant. Passive aggressive HR clearly not there to support employees just management.
